Michelle says, “Hmmm yes, less fat than original HD flavors, but still higher in calories and fat than a lot of other ice-cream products out there. HOWEVER, I love the simple ingredient list and am still amazed at how delicious, creamy, and flavorful all the ice-creams are!! Definitely a great treat to bring to a party or if you’re curious about how brown sugar tastes like in ice-cream form!”

Thoughts: OH my gosh… I couldn’t believe there were only 5 ingredients. It tastes SO GOOD, like a frozen latte. Slightly bitter, not too sweet, rich and creamy…all the premium quality textures and flavors you’d expect from Haagen-Dazs. Unfortunately, it retains all the fat and calories you would expect. BOO. At least it’s more natural right?
Overall: Although the coffee flavor is SPOT ON, I have definitely had lower calorie and lower fat versions of this type of cold treat. Save your money on this one and go for a more unique flavor in the line!
5 Ingredients: Skim Milk, Cream, Sugar, Egg Yolks, Mint extract
Flavor: WOW. Think exactly: mint chip ice-cream without the chips. It was light, refreshing, and rich. NOT at all like eating your toothpaste.
Overall: I might buy this again…I was shocked that I didn’t even miss the chocolate chips since it reminded me so much of it. Sadly, the ice-cream isn’t exactly sinless…it’s still laden with fat and calories, but you can’t get mint by itself anywhere else!
