Hello! And welcome to Lucky Taste Buds 🙂
I’m Michelle, a 20-something year-old foodie who loves to eat, create, and experience new foods. I believe my upbringing in Asia, in a food-loving family, and the past 6 years living in Chicago (a wonderful food city!) has shaped my “food-tittude”. I currently live and attend dental school in Boston and I am excited for the new dining scene!! Follow me on Yelp (michellets.yelp.com) if you’d like to read some of my restaurant reviews. 🙂
- A self-proclaimed baker! I love to improvise recipes and healthify desserts from scratch. I hope to own my very own bakery one day, right beside my dental clinic. 🙂
- A dental school student! Lower sugar and teeth-friendly recipes are what I strive to develop when I have time. Check out My Kitchen page for some examples.
- Adventurous with flavors – eating out at restaurants and testing new foods is my favorite past time.
- An ex-Finance-er. I used to work in finance and whole heartedly believe in economical food. Check out my “Faithfully Frugal” page for $$$ saving tips!
I started Lucky Taste Buds inspired by travel, cooking, and healthy living blogs.
This blog is a way for me to express my love for Real, Good Food, whether it be restaurant dishes, home creations, or something I pick up at a grocery store. LTB has been around for a while, and because dental school is currently taking over my life, updates will be random but I hope you’ll keep following me!
I hope you’ll join me on my adventure and that somewhere along the way, I can be a source of ideas or inspiration for you! Thanks for reading and please ENJOY!
